On September 13th, at 6pm ET, Tanenbaum is hosting a virtual screening of the documentary Refuge. Refuge captures the story of Chris Buckley, a former White Supremacist and leader of the KKK who uses the power of intentional conversations to find healing from the people he once hated- a Muslim heart doctor and a community of refugees.

To have purposeful conversations rooted in respect is necessary to address our own harmful preconceptions, and embrace identities outside of our own.

The screening will be followed by a live Q&A featuring Chris and Arno Michaelis, Tanenbaum friend and former extremist, sharing practical steps for hosting your own conversations that build respect across diverse difference.

Join us to hear them discuss the power we each have to choose how we intentionally engage with one another.
