Upcoming this March 2025, in recognition of Women's History Month, Senator James Sanders Jr., in collaboration with the Rochdale Village Community Relations Committee, will recognize outstanding women in Construction. In 1987, Congress passed a law designating March as National Women's History Month. The achievements of women in every aspect of life benefit everyone. We will honor individuals who are working hard to improve their communities and who have made great strides in their careers, holding the promise of a bright future.

Here are a few rules:
1. Candidates must live in Senator Sanders's district OR currently be working in Senator Sanders's district for at least five years. You can check if a candidate lives or works in the district by entering their address at the link below.

2. Candidates must currently be working in the Construction Field.
3. Candidates must have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in their work or community service.

Honoring their contributions during Women's History Month is a celebration of the progress they've paved and the strength they bring to the industry.”
Deadline for nominations is Friday, March 7, 2025.
The event gala dinner will be held at the Rochdale Village Grand Ballroom, located at 169-65 137th Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11434, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I would be honored if you would attend and show your support for these amazing women. It will be a great time!
